“I have always enjoyed working with the timeless medium of colored pencil. I love the freshness it can convey and I was very intrigued with the possibility of working on a substrate other than paper that would be functional. Why not purses? Haunting thrift stores, yard sales and antique shops became even more fun as I started looking for handbags that were perfect to upcycle and receive my drawings.
